Dr. German Trujillo

Dr. Trujillo has now opened his own private practice in the San Diego area and is also a member of the California Dental Association and the San Diego County Dental Society. He practices full-scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and would like to offer his services to patients who need treatment in the specialty. He looks forward to working with you.

Born and raised in Colombia, his early education took place at the Health Sciences Institute CES in Medellín, where he earned his degree in General Dentistry. His commitment to serving the community was evident from the very beginning of his career. Following his graduation, he dedicated ten months to working as a family dentist in a rural area of Colombia, providing essential dental care to those in need.

Driven by a passion for advanced dental care and a thirst for knowledge, Dr. Trujillo took a significant step in his professional journey. He relocated to the vibrant city of Chicago, where he pursued and successfully completed his degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty at the prestigious University of Illinois at Chicago.

Before establishing his private practice in sunny San Diego, he served the greater Seattle area for five years, working as an Associate Oral Surgeon at BrightNow! Dental. His practice not only thrived but also made a lasting impact on the community.

To boot, Dr. Trujillo dedicated his time and expertise to educating the next generation of dental professionals, serving as an affiliate instructor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the University of Washington.

In 2009 Dr. Trujillo moved to San Diego, California where he opened his own practice.

Dr. Trujillo enjoys cycling, rollerblading and swimming and to unwind and relax he is learning how to play electric guitar and the oldest wind instrument: The Didgeridoo.
